We commissioned an open-source design from the chip manufacturer. We've taken the ES9039 to extremes, pairing it with two Accusilicon AS318B series chips running at 45.1584MHz/49.152MHz, a low-jitter, unified clock source. Custom circuitry deeply restructures the audio data. resulting in purer audio and a distinctly different sound experience between tube and transistor modes.
