The M6 Double earns its name through a unique, dual-tube configuration that you won’t find anywhere else. We have integrated two distinctive tube technologies into one portable chassis. First, we have dual JAN6418 miniature vacuum tubes that power the amplification stage and deliver a rich, musical, and smooth sound profile. It has been tuned to provide a lush and emotional sound that will engage the listeners with its sheer musicality. Secondly, we have a visual tube glory as well, featuring Nixie IN-7 tubes. We have integrated an innovative Nixie neon tube display. Popularized in the 1950s, this is the smallest implementation of Nixie tubes ever produced. Filled with low-pressure inert gas, they glow with a warm neon orange hue to display your volume level. With a lifespan of up to 200,000 hours, this creates a mesmerizing retro interface that makes the M6 Double truly one of a kind.

Behind the retro aesthetics, we have a modern acoustic section featuring the flagship ES9039 DAC chipset that ensures high-resolution PCM and DSD audio signal processing. It is combined with a dual independent Accusilicon AS318B ultra-low jitter oscillator, running at 45.158MHz and 49.152MHz respectively. The M6 Double also has seven selectable digital filter modes for a customizable listening experience. Muse HiFi M6 Double also supports wireless Bluetooth connectivity for signal input. We have equipped the device with Qualcomm’s advanced QCC5125 chipset that enables Bluetooth V5.2 connectivity and supports high-definition transmission protocols such as LDAC, AptX Adaptive, etc.

Powering a device with two different tube technologies was an engineering challenge our team was eager to solve. The Nixie tubes require 170V, while the JAN6418 setup operates at 25V. To manage this, we designed an exclusive power supply utilizing an onboard MCU chipset that manages 20 MOSFET drivers to operate the entire setup seamlessly.
